 ABOUT NWC’s ANNUAL MEETING 

NWC is a non-profit trade organization in the United States that focuses on advocating for and promoting the nation’s water resources and waterways infrastructure. The NWC Annual Meeting is the organization’s flagship event held once a year somewhere in the U.S.. It serves as a gathering point for professionals, policymakers, government officials, industry experts, and stakeholders involved in water and waterways management and infrastructure development. The meeting typically includes a series of sessions, presentations, and discussions covering a wide range of topics related to water resources, infrastructure, regulations, funding, and more.

Day 1 Highlights: Regional Water and Waterway Focus

  • Engage with USACE South Pacific Division and USACE district offices as they share insights on regional water and waterway matters.
  • Gain perspectives from Bureau of Reclamation regional offices on current challenges and opportunities.
  • Hear from Secretary Wade Crowfoot of the state of California on water management strategies.

  • Engage with the Assistant Secretary of the Army (Civil Works) Michael Connor on policy priorities coming down the pike.
  • Conclude the event with a Mobile Tour of Folsom Dam, gaining firsthand insights into dam operations and water management.
