NWC members,

Please join NWC and the Texas Water Conservation Association on August 31, 2022, in Arlington, Texas for NWC’s Regional Spotlight on Texas.

The regional Spotlight series was designed as a way to introduce people to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, as well as build deeper relationships within the USACE division and district offices. We have confirmed several division and district commanders and their staff to speak and attend this event. The all-day, in-person event will dive into how to effectively engage with USACE; navigate the USACE permitting process and spearhead construction dig into the project development process for water and waterways projects.

Confirmed speakers include:

  • Col. Ken Reed (incoming), Commander, Southwestern Division, USACE
  • Col. Jonathan S. Stover, Commander – Fort Worth District, USACE
  • Col. Rhett Blackmon  (incoming), Commander – Galveston District, USACE
  • Col. Tim Hudson (incoming), Commander – Tulsa District, USACE

A huge thanks to the Trinity River Authority for sharing their space and providing lunch. And a huge thank you to Freese and Nichols AND Gauge Engineering for sponsoring the coffee and networking breaks!

This event will be in-person only and we have limited (FREE) registration for 100 people (we only have a few slots left before opening a waiting list). Please limit your registration to no more than three people per organization. That way we can accommodate participation among a wide(r) range of stakeholders and non-federal sponsors within our limited capacity. To register or for more information, click here.
