Congress Approves Funding Through April 28^th

After some last minute wrangling, the Congress passed a Continuing Resolution to extend current federal funding levels through April 28, 2017.  While the CR provides an additional $1 billion for the Corps of Engineer’s civil works program, those additional funds may be used only for emergency repairs.  Otherwise, expenditures must be made according to the FY 17 President’s budget.
